Attack on Titan: Project
Last month, Attack on Titan: Project saw another productive month! Our 3dmg saw major improvements, adding 3dmg diving and weight value to trigger the correct fall animations. A new cursor that shows hooking distance was also added, this is a toggleable option in our options menu. We completed 90% of the backend necessary to add 3DMG mobile support. This will allow any touchscreen device to use 3DMG in AOT:P, finally unlocking our game to tens of millions of Roblox users. We completed revamps on our lobby and Beast Titan Mission Location.
We also added our new titan blinding animation and continue to adjust titan hitboxes based on tester feedback. We expect to continue adjusting hitboxes until release. Although titans are not 100% polished, we believe they are in a spot where we can show you what titan combat is looking like.
The team began to transition our work into a live release-ready environment, this involves us moving from the testing place and beginning on missions. By the end of last month, the backend for missions was 90% completed and will see continued work into the new month. Once our first mission is completed, we'll be doing a semi-open test with our contributors in the AOT:P main discord. The opening cutscene for the Trost Mission was fully animated and aligned with the voice acting. A demo was released internally between the team and was approved to be fully scripted into the game.
We completed [REDACTED], this is something we wanted to add since 2019, and we are super excited to finally have this in the new AOT:P. We also began early work on the release trailer, something we are very proud to show you once it's complete.
Shinobi: Project
Last month, Shinobi Project hit a new record high on May 20th, we were one of the top 3,000 Roblox games on Roblox with over 12,000 users daily. We believe this was a result of the new Roblox algorithm change of the home recommendation screen. Suffice it to say, we are very humbled by the new 6,000 Discord members and the record month we had! And we look forward to continuing to bring awesome updates.
In April we launched S:P Update 1.2, which saw the addition of our new user tutorial that has now been played by over 45,000 players. clan variants, tons of optimizations, clan variants, and much more! We also completed all final console support requirements. This added console shift-lock, console users can now open their inventory, and a game-breaking bug was fixed that glitched out console users who would enter the skill tree. We also added new badges and badge icons.
Another huge addition to our lore, the Land of Tea was also released this month to our players! The players got to explore the new and unforeseen lands of Tea, with an entirely foreign people that both Shinobi and Samurai have never encountered before...
Discussions began on how to tackle mobile support, and we began refactoring some outdated UI that needed improvement before we fully began on mobile support. Early talks began on S:P Update 1.3, which we hope to begin to work on while we develop lore.
Clone Wars: Project
Last month, we saw the introduction of a new programmer, carrying off the work on the gun system. We moved from part projectiles to beams with lights, this resulted in increased client performance compared to large parts being spawned. From our new Lead Programmer:
"Starting as a new programmer for this project on the 19th of April, I was introduced to the tasks at hand which involved some fascinating systems and assets. After a discussion with Drafter, we thought it was best to get started with the gun system and replace the already existing one with a more efficient and engaging system. The first few days involved a bit of getting familiar with the pre-existing assets and code and a lot of planning and referencing other systems and examining how they handled the different aspects involved. After laying out how to proceed and making some pseudo scripts, we proceeded to construct the system in the days that followed. The system is modular allowing for the addition and configuration of guns. It handles effects and animations on the client reducing server overload, and it makes use of public modules such as FastCast and Spring. The current challenges we face is reducing lag effects and making sure certain client movements and animations are in sync with the server. The essential systems are expected to be completed by the beginning of May while testing, further optimization, and miscellaneous configuration may take around one week."

We also completed work on the new AT-AP model, with it's exterior fully complete and animation work beginning. Alongside the new model, we adjusted our hyperspace effect to fully encricle the large venator, making it feel as if players are travelling through lightspeed.
Demon Slayer: Project
On Demon Slayer Project, work continued on the new combat system, which resulted in countless hours of discussion and animations to get right. We are preparing a sneak peek for the community in the new month.
Work began on the new U:P AI Bot, this bot will handle many U:P socials and be a general support and ticket bot. The U:P bot will have a brain, which will be the wiki and website, and it will look at user messages in Discord and respond to them accordingly. And that concludes this month's report! If you've ever contemplated joining the developers of Unlimited Projects to contribute to our ambitious endeavors, don't hesitate to reach out. We continue to make tremendous progress, and we want to give a huge thank you to both our developers, players, and staff team for making all of this possible. Together, we can continue pushing the boundaries of the Roblox experience to new heights. We're immensely grateful for your dedication.
We'll see you in our May Monthly report!
