Attack on Titan: Project
In the previous month, the New Module team achieved a significant milestone by finalizing the architectural framework of every system. This exhaustive effort prepared the groundwork for an internal review, marking the culmination of countless hours dedicated to refining the new Titans and implementing an immersive gore system. As part of this endeavor, a comprehensive set of sound effects, including Titan Munch, Titan Swallow Player, Player Scream Male, Player Scream Female, Limb Chomp, Head Chomp, Full Body Chomp, and various Detached Limbs/Organs sound variants, was seamlessly integrated. This new gore system synergizes greatly with our new Titans, elevating them into truly terrifying creatures within the game. Additionally, the team took steps towards enhanced project management by transitioning to the Jira platform. This transition facilitated a comprehensive reorganization of timelines and boards, streamlining our approach to both free play and the imminent launch of the full new module.
In parallel, the Old Module team continued their dedicated efforts, focusing on the refinement of the shifting system to accommodate upcoming lore events. Multiple bug fixes were successfully implemented during this period, contributing to the overall stability and quality of the gaming experience. These collective efforts are to show our commitment to delivering a compelling and polished gaming environment to our player community, for both the Old and the New Module.
Shinobi: Project
Last month, our programming team began a series of significant refinements to our AI system, culminating in a complete overhaul of how our AI operates on the game server. This transformation yielded remarkable improvements in performance, allowing us to spawn over 300 rogue AIs without causing server crashes. In tandem with this AI overhaul, we revamped our spawning system, enriching our game's overall experience. Additionally, our programming team dedicated their efforts to various optimizations, addressing bugs, and developing a new war simulation system. This innovative feature grants players the opportunity to earn XP, Ryo, and exclusive drops by participating. Also this month, we've introduced new Yome moves and expanded clan progression. We resolved several issues that emerged within the clan progression as well. The team began work on enhancing the current settings tab, allowing players to have greater control over their in-game experience. This includes the introduction of a new saving location system, which can be toggled within the player's settings. Our build team successfully completed work on the [REDACTED] map, meticulously adding all essential features and locations across it that are necessary for lore. After a final review, the map has now transitioned into the early production phase.
Lastly, our animation team wrapped up the animation work for the new [REDACTED]. As part of our continuous improvement efforts, the entire S:P development team transitioned to the Jira platform last month, aligning our project management practices with industry best practices.
Demon Slayer: Project
During the course of this month, DS:P underwent a significant transformation as the team was restructured to enhance its capabilities. A notable addition to the team was the onboarding of a new programmer, who promptly began their work. The build team made substantial progress in the development of the Swordsmith village. This initiative prompted extensive discussions on various features, all rooted in the village's pivotal role within the Demon Slayers gameplay. The programming team initiated work on the combat system towards the latter part of the month. This undertaking represents a crucial part of DS:P, and will continue to be refined. Furthermore, to streamline project management practices and enhance collaboration, the entire DS:P development team, like our other projects, transitioned to the Jira platform last month. This move aligns our team with modern project management standards and is expected to improve overall project efficiency.
Clone Wars: Project
In the previous month, the CW:P programming team underwent a significant transformation, bringing on a fresh scripting duo to spearhead this monumental project. This addition marks a pivotal step in our ongoing journey into making CW:P a reality. Concurrently, our UI team began work on the new character customization UI, a task that involved extensive deliberations with our gameplay advisors to ensure a comprehensive approach. The collaborative effort led to the decision that players will have the freedom to create their character's name, re-roll their traits, and make selections for both facial features and hairstyles. This streamlined customization process promises to elevate the player experience within our game. Another major achievement this month was the successful resolution of lingering bugs related to the Venator overhaul. This complex endeavor necessitated several playtest sessions to identify issues arising from the extensive overhaul. As part of our ongoing commitment to efficient project management, our team transitioned to Jira. This transition proved instrumental in helping us comprehensively define the statistics and functionalities of various gameplay features, including health metrics for vehicles and the intricate functions within vehicles and ships. Looking ahead, the new programming team has begun their introductory phase, and is looking to begin work at the start of the new month. This signifies an exciting new chapter in our project's evolution as we continue to push the Roblox engine beyond it's limits.
And that concludes this month's report, we cannot wait to have you all play what we've been working on for the last few months. If you've ever contemplated joining the developers of Unlimited Projects to contribute to our ambitious endeavors, don't hesitate to reach out. Together, we can continue pushing the boundaries of the Roblox experience to new heights. Our journey wouldn't be possible without the unwavering support of our community. We're immensely grateful for your dedication.
We will be back with our October Monthly report in the next month!
